What is the RIFT Mobile Authenticator?
The RIFT Mobile Authenticator is an application available for many iOS and Android devices. Once linked to your RIFT account, your Mobile Authenticator can be commanded to generate a unique key that is required to log in to RIFT. The Mobile Authenticator provides two-factor authentication (the first factor being your password), making it much harder for insidious individuals to gain unauthorized access to your account, even if your computer has been compromised. It is an entirely optional (but highly recommended!) security measure that offers users invaluable extra protection.
