Join the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and the RIC Virginia Wadsworth Wirtz Sports Program in conjunction with the U.S. Paralympics in a celebration of sport! The camp will provide service men and women a hands-on opportunity to learn about and try different Paralympic sports, and to expand thier resources to live a healthy, active lifestyle that embodies the “Amazing Awaits ” spirit. The camp is offered in two phases in order to accommodate a wider variety of disabilities and sports. Phase I is targeted for servicemen and women with traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, stroke, and blind/visual impairment. Phase II is targeted for servicemen and women with spinal cord injury, amputation, and les autres.
