What is the requirement concerning a course in “Medical Errors?
The Florida Legislature requires that all health care licensees of the Florida Department of Health take a 2 hour course in the prevention of medical errors every biennium. The course must also be taken prior to initial licensure. Our courses have been approved by the Board of Occupational Therapy, and the Florida Physical Therapy Association.

The course must also be taken prior to initial licensure. Our courses have been accredited by the Florida Physical Therapy Association and are accepted for credit by the Florida Physical Therapy Practice Board.
