What is the required TOEFL score for an international student?
UNT accepts the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) as one of its many measures of proof of English Proficiency. Minimum acceptable scores are: • Paper Based Test (PBT): 550 • Internet Based Test (IBT): 79 total, or minimum scores on each section: Reading: 20, Speaking: 19, Listening: 21, Writing: 17 Note: Some departments such as Computer Science and English, require higher scores.
