Our studies have consistently shown greater than 95% representation of RNA species in the amplified population when compared with unamplified RNA with starting concentrations greater than 100 ng. When using a starting concentration of 5 ng of total RNA, some very low transcripts may be lost. Typically we obtain approximately 85% representation when starting with 5 ng.
