What is the relevance of redefining the character Macbeths identity for a modern audience?
Scotland’s history is largely unknown by those who live here. Shakespeare’s depiction was largely spin to flatter the current king. Audiences’ imagination can get fired with new information on an old story. I wanted to explore the spin culture and stimulate an audience to look beyond what is presented to them.
