The EMT class environment is quite casual. In the FT 300 class, Ex-Chief Gruenberg said that he is on a lot of oral hiring boards so he shares his insights regarding the hiring process with his class. He makes sure that he prepares them with material on ethics and diversity because these are issues of great importance for today’s Firefighter.
