What is the relationship to other sequence databases?
Where appropriate, EMBL Database entries are cross-referenced to other databases like the Eukaryotic Promoter database, TRANSFAC, FlyBase, UniProtKB/TrEMBL and UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot. Cross-references to external databases are represented in the EMBL flat-file line type “DR” and, where appropriate, at the feature level, via the feature qualifier /db_xref.
