What is the relationship to CPIC and the Brokers/Custodians CPIC works with?
Your accounts are held at a brokerage firm such as Charles Schwab, Fidelity, TD Ameritrade, or possibly at a bank trust department. These financial companies act as custodian for your accounts. Using the limited power of attorney provided in the CPIC Asset Management Agreement, CPIC will direct trades within your accounts at those firms. At all times, you retain full control over your account and you have full access to your money. You may terminate CPIC’s agreement at any time without further cost or obligation. CPIC is a member of the AllFinancialAdvisors network.
