What is the relationship of the Leadership Roundtable to the hierarchy of the Catholic Church?
The Leadership Roundtable is at the service of the Church and works to strengthen apostolic governance. We are working with forty key bishops representing all fourteen regions of the U.S. who serve on important administrative committees of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). These bishops offer advice and guidance and serve as emissaries to their brother bishops relating to the work of the Leadership Roundtable. From the first meeting of the Leadership Roundtable, cardinals, archbishops and bishops from across the country have participated in our meetings. With the active engagement of experienced and committed laity, the Leadership Roundtable works in close relationship with many bishops and leadership at the diocesan level.
