What is the relationship of JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc., to Region VIII Title X-funded clinics?
JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI), is a not-for-profit agency with headquarters in Boston, MA, and a regional office in Denver, CO. The Denver office is the recipient of a federal grant designating it to be the Training Center for Title X-funded clinics in Region VIII of the U.S. Public Health Service, Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Public Health and Science. Region VIII covers the states of Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. Grant Directors are appointed in each state to advise JSI in the implementation of the guidelines of the Family Planning Training Grant. JSI provides cost-effective training for health care providers and staff of Title X-funded family planning programs, as well as other public and private health care providers. JSI is also the Regional Training Center for Region I, New England States.
