The principals at the Canada-Israel Industrial Research and Development Foundation (CIIRDF) and Precarn collaborated in a proposal to create ISTPCanada in response to a request for proposal posted by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT). While ISTPCanada is a distinct and separate entity from both CIIRDF and Precarn, working partnerships have been established with both by ISTPCanada.
