What is the relationship between the two CSU licensed pharmacies (Hartshorn Health Services and Veterinary Teaching Hospital) and CSU faculty using controlled substances?

Hartshorn Health Services, commonly referred to as Student Health, and the VTH are both licensed facilities for dispensing drugs and controlled substances for patients on an inpatient or outpatient basis. The VTH pharmacy also allows departments within the hospital, for client or research use, to checkout controlled substances to be used on premises that are documented on a “Restricted Drug Disposition” form and returned and checked by the pharmacy. No controlled drugs will be dispensed for use for research purposes outside the hospital.
