What is the relationship between the parish and school?
RPCS is part of a church community with 946 registered families. 126 of 136 (93%) of school families are Resurrection parishioners. The parish is the structural foundation of the school, with many groups involving themselves with the school’s needs. The Men’s Club donates part of its golf tournament proceeds each year, and the Resurrection Council of Catholic Women donated to the library and helps supply tutors and other volunteers when needed. Hurley Manor, a senior-housing community adjacent to the grounds, assists with collecting Box Tops for Education and change for school supplies. The Knights of Columbus sponsors Pancake Breakfast with all donations benefiting the school, and the RYTE Group, a high school youth ministry, donated their time in the summer to help renovate the facilities.
