The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is the Lead College for the suite of undergraduate degrees, diplomas and an Access Route in the subject areas of Economics, Management, Finance and Social Sciences. The academic direction and support for these programmes are provided by LSE, although the University of London grants the final award. Students are registered with the University of London and will have contact withthe University of London only on all matters of administration from registration to Graduation. LSE sets the syllabus, provides subject guides, prescribes the essential and reference texts, sets the examination papers and marks the final examinations.
