What is the relationship between the Freeplay Foundation and Freeplay Energy?
The Freeplay Foundation was established in 1998 by the Freeplay Energy Group (now Freeplay Energy) as an extension of the Group’s commitment to empowerment and development. The Foundation is a totally separate entity from Freeplay Energy, with its own boards of trustees in the United Kingdom, South Africa and the United States. We receive an annual grant from Freeplay Energy, which we apply to our overhead costs. We obtain the balance of our funding through grants and public appeals.
