CELTA is a teaching award run by University of Cambridge ESOL, the division of the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate responsible for English Language / Teaching examinations. Teaching House is accredited by the University of Cambridge’s Local Examinations Syndicate to run CELTA courses. While centers all over the world run Cambridge University CELTA courses, there are only about a half-dozen in the United States, and only one run in New York City: CELTA NY at Teaching House.
