bebionic is the trademark for the bebionic brand range and is owned solely by RSLSteeper. RSLSteeper is a UK based company providing prosthetic, orthotic and electrical assistive technology clinical services and products as well as being a leading manufacturer of upper limb prosthetic components. RSLSteeper has a heritage that goes back to the First World War. Since then we have a record of continuous development and progress, particularly in the area of upper limb development. We have records of work carried out with multi–articulated hands from the 1960’s and we were involved as collaborators with myo-electric control before that time. Research work since the sixties has included collaboration with workers in many other countries but most development effort was aimed at the UK. Over the last two decades, RSLSteeper has refocused on international markets and the bebionic brand is totally international in outlook.
