CWDC believes that the relationship between QTS and EYPS should be clarified in time for the introduction of the new Early Years Foundation Stage in 2008. The Government agrees that further clarity would be helpful. The Government wishes to ensure that people with QTS are attracted and retained in the Early Years workforce.
