Data Synergy distributes the PowerMAN client software in two forms. The full software product is known as PowerMAN. This allows power management policies to be applied and power usage information to be monitored. PowerMON is a limited feature version of the same software that is used only for power monitoring. The same executable is used for both products. The term PowerMAN is generally used in the documentation. The supplied license key and ADM file are different.
