What is the relationship between Oregon Health & Science University Foundation and OHSU Department of Science & Engineering (DSE)?
The OHSU Foundation is an independent, tax-exempt organization. Its mission is to promote and further the development of DSE by raising, managing, and disbursing private funds for the department’s programs. Gifts to the OHSU Foundation advance DSE by providing scholarships for outstanding students, supporting faculty research and instruction, and enhancing facilities and program development and growth. The partnership between the OHSU Foundation and DSE represents a creative force dedicated to the most efficient and beneficial use of private contributions.
