What is the relationship between Lineage and Lineage IIs background story?
The background story for Lineage II is 150 years earlier than Lineage’s time. In the age of Lineage II, Gunter hasn’t been to Talking Island, and King Decon (Lineage’s main character and Depardieu’s grandfather) has not been born. It is an unstable time – the world of Aden has just unified. Elmore, a strong country in the north, and Gracia, a mysterious country overseas, are engaged in a struggle with Aden as well. The world 150 years ago is different from the one in Lineage, but you’ll see similarities, like the names of some places and monsters.
