What is the relationship between fahs.org and Overseas Brats?
Overseas Brats is a big organization that holds events for alumni of all DOD schools. We are focused solely on FAHS alumni. Another difference is that we tend to be quite a bit more informal, irreverent, and off-center. They have schedules. We’re just happy if everyone makes it home in the morning (or at least by lunch). They wear nametags at their parties. We wear tattoos. As my friend David likes to say, “At Frankfurt parties you are expected to remember who you are, and in the event that you forget who you are, pray that you look good in cork.” But hey, there’s room in the world and on the Internet for both organizations and styles. We wish OB the best, and will continue to post announcements for their events on our reunions page.
