What is the relationship between DDC and the Lemelson Program?
• DDC, like the Lemelson Assistive Technology Development Center, the Center for Sustainability, and the new Multi-College and University Entrepreneur’s Institute, are outgrowths of the original Lemelson Program. Some of the initial startup funding for DDC came from the Lemelson Program. Most importantly, the Lemelson Program works closely with the DDC to help student projects in the areas of business development, intellectual property and other legal issues. The Lemelson Program also offers seminars dealing with innovation and entrepreneurial endeavors.
