What is the relationship between CUNYs School of Professional Studies and the Creative Arts Team?
Established in 2003, the School of Professional Studies (SPS) develops new courses and academic programs to serve the needs of working professionals, businesses, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and unions. This work is done in collaboration with a number of partners both inside and outside of the City University of New York. One of these partners is the Paul A. Kaplan Center for Educational Drama, the professional development program of the Creative Arts Team (CAT). CAT is a theatre outreach program of CUNY with over 30 years of experience working in the schools and communities of New York City. CAT has been collaborating with SPS since joining CUNY in 2004.
