The CentroMap approach supports a harmonised definition and interpretation of referencing TMC location codes on a digital road map. The defined CentroMap Feature Types reference only the TMC locations stored in the Location Tables. They do not duplicate the information stored in the tables, but provide additional information, especially the geographic representation and the reference to the road network.
