What is the relationship between BD-CMM, other CMMs, and CMMI?
The BD-CMM is compatible with all other CMMs in terms of structure and approach. In addition, it complements CMMI, in that it extends the CMMI focus on quality of delivery to address quality of how business is developed to result in delivery. It is also complementary in that the primary CMMI focus is internal, whereas BD-CMM applies the same approaches to focus on the external environment of customers.
