What is the rejection of TOC in PurBev™ ?
We do not make a claim for TOC removal by Pur’Bev™ because TOC is a non-specific measurement of organic carbon, and R.O. may remove some organic material but not all, depending on the charge and molecular weight. Typical TOC removal by Pur’Bev™ might be 98.5% but TOC at the inlet of Pur’Bev™ cannot be higher than 3 ppm. For raw water containing higher concentration that 3 ppm of TOC a pre-treatment must be installed. TOC removal could only be higher than 99% if wave length of UV was 185 nm.
