The regulatory recovery fee is applied to your account to recover the costs of certain government mandates and programs. The fee covers the costs that Cricket incurs providing local number portability and other government mandated programs. The regulatory recovery fee amount may change from time-to-time as costs comply with such state and federal programs change. This fee is applied to each line of service on an account. A Regulatory Recovery Fee of $0.99 applies to each phone number. Vonage uses this fee to pay our regulatory-related fees and expenses, including taxes, number portability charges, and related legal fees. Effective July 15, 2009 The Regulatory Recovery Fee will become the Regulatory and Compliance Fee.
