What is the registration process for extraordinary applicants?
Files that are complete are reviewed for credentials and consistency. As part of the review, you may be asked to clarify information you have provided in your application, or to provide additional information. The Registration Committee is the body that determines when an applicants file review has been concluded satisfactorily. Once this has occurred, you will be eligible to proceed to the written jurisprudence exam and Part A of the oral exam which are required for initial placement on the Limited Register. At the time of placement on the Limited Register, you will be informed of all outstanding requirements for placement on the Full Register. You will have up to five years to complete the outstanding requirements, at which point you will be removed from the register if the requirements have are not met.
