What is the regional peer review process? How will the “regional peers” be selected and what will their roles be in the decision-making process?
To incorporate regional expertise and insight into the Genographic Legacy Fund decision-making process, we are ensuring input from regional researchers as well as from regional indigenous and traditional and functional experts. Regional peers will be selected based on their area and level of functional expertise based on the projects under consideration. The regional peer groups will provide a critical input to the Steering Committee as part of the overall evaluation process.
