What is the refund procedure if I decide to cancel a completed registration?
To request a refund please call the Community Center. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will automatically receive a full refund. Refunds for any reason are issued less 20% (maximum $10) up to 3 days before a program starts. Once the program begins, only credits on account will be issued. Less than 3 days before a program starts or after a programs starts, up until the midpoint, refunds are given for medical reasons (doctor’s note is required) or relocation of at least 20 miles from the Town of Herndon. Refunds are calculated based on the remaining classes at the time the request is made. Credit on account is also available and is not subject to a service charge. After the mid-point of a program, no refunds or letters of credit will be given for any reason. Exception: Trips with specific refund request deadlines, the 20% fee applies. All admission fees and passes are nonrefundable. Refund requests may not be made online.
