What is the Refund Policy?
We strive to provide the best service possible and will work on behalf of our clients to rectify any regrettable circumstances pertaining to your reservation. UndercoverTourist.com acts only as an independent agent to secure services of a hotel or other travel related supplier. Therefore, we have no control over personnel, equipment, or operations of these suppliers and shall not be held liable for any inconvenience, personal injury, property damage, or other loss incurred as a result of any wrongful acts, omissions, or default on the part of the suppliers. All grievances must be reported with any and all supporting documentation to TravelNow.com within 60 days of the mailing of the first credit card statement showing any discrepancies for billing and payment issues or within 60 days after the completion of travel services provided.
REFUND POLICY • FEES The TIEP application fee, assistance with housing fee, and express mail fee are neither refundable nor transferable. The TIEP application fee and assistance with housing fee are deferrable for one year. • PREPAID TUITION Students who prepay TIEP tuition in full and are unable to enter the United States and enroll at TIEP for the session(s) for which they have prepaid will receive a full refund less a $100 cancellation fee. The refund request must be received in writing no later than the tenth (10th) class day or the student will forfeit all prepaid tuition. • WITHDRAWAL FROM TIEP AFTER REGISTERING To receive a refund after registering at TIEP, a student must officially withdraw. • Notice of withdrawal must be presented in writing by completing a Request to Withdraw form. This form is available from the TIEP Student Services Administrator and the TIEP Director. • Students who withdraw before classes begin will receive a full refund, less a $150 cancellation fee. • S
This is an abbreviated version, the complete refund policy is contained in the student contract. a) Refund computations based on actual instruction received through last date of attendance b) Effective date of the termination for refund is the earliest date of – last day of attendance if student terminated by BDS – date receipt of written notice from the student – 10th school day following last day of attendance c) If tuition paid in advance and if after the 72 hour cancellation privilege, the student does not enter BDS, terminates enrollment, or withdraws, BDS may retain up to $50 as administrative expenses; and from the remainder refund that portion of classroom tuition and fees and behind the wheel tuition and fees for services not previously received by the student.
Lost Items that have been paid for and are subsequently returned within three months of the payment date will receive a refund by check, minus any daily overdue or processing charges for the item. The billing clerk will calculate the overdue fines and reduce the refund accordingly. Items returned more than three months after the Lost Item payment date will receive no refund.
