What is the Refund Policy?
Please refer to Continuing & Professional Education’s website (http://UMassULearn.net) for the refund policy. Under “Information” click “Registration” then choose “Refunds” from the menu at the left-hand side. The refund policy does not apply to learners that are called to active military duty. The University provides a quick and simple method for these learners to withdraw from the University or otherwise conclude their semester without penalty. Please contact the Dean of Students Office at (413) 545-2684 if you must withdraw from courses for this reason.
My.ComMetrics.com offers a free 30-day trial on new paying accounts (Basic, Plus, and Pro). Your first charge will come 30 days after you originally sign up. If you cancel before this first charge, you won’t be billed at all. If you cancel after you are billed on day 30, no refund will be issued and you will be charged for the rest of that month. For example, if you are billed on the 18th of every month and you cancel on September 24th, you’ll still have to pay for the entire current month (September 18 – October 18 in this case). You won’t be charged again after that. Accounts that begin as an upgrade from a free account do not qualify for the free 30-day trial. You are responsible for whatever charges have been incurred. For Segment One: 100% of the tuition is refundable if cancelled 24 hours prior to the first day of class. 75% is refundable if a refund request is made on or before the day of class session #2. Thereafter, no part of the tuition is refundable. In addition, once the student has attended a driving session no part of the tuition is refundable. For Segment Two: 100% of the tuition is refundable if cancelled 24 hours prior to the first day of class. Seventy five percent (75%) is refundable if a refund request is made on or before the day of class session two (2), thereafter no part of the tuition is refundable. Traffic School Seminar: 75% of the tuition is refundable if cancelled 24 hours prior to the day of class. Thereafter, no part of the tuition is refundable. The refund policy is quite extensive, and will be gone over with you thoroughly if you are accepted, but the basic is as follows: if you set general specifications as to the type of job you would like, (ex. Marketing) and the places you would like to go to (ex.. Europe, or Latin America) and we are able to offer several internships that fits your criteria, but you decide that you are looking for something more specific, we generally tend to continue to search on a good-faith basis, but you are no longer able to get a refund. On the other hand, if we, and you, are never able to find something that fits your specifications, then you are eligible for a full refund.
