What is the redundancy planning of GOSL for its broadband clients?
GOSL maintains three POPs (Point of Presence) at Dhaka City that are internally connected. In this way, if a client using the service from POP-I faces trouble with the POP, he/she will automatically be shifted either to POP-II or POP-III. GOSL plans to put one more V-Sat for ultimate redundancy. This facility will ensure 100% up time even if one V-Sat goes down in any case.
