What is the Redbird Risk Management Challenge?
Fun, exciting, challenging, and educational…that’s what the Redbird Risk Management Challenge is! This one week program is designed for top high school students interested in careers in business. Throughout the week students participate in a challenging management competition which includes experiential learning inside and outside of the classroom. In the Challenge student-teams assume the roles of senior risk management professionals and are asked to guide their corporation through a mine field of potential disasters. Losses may occur without notice – and may cripple their corporation’s ability to carry on operations. Student-teams compete against one another each endeavoring to claim the title of The Challenge Champion. The winning team is determined by which corporation best manages its risk and generates the most profit by the end of the week.
