What is the Red Ring of Death on the Xbox 360 Game Console?

The “Red Ring of Death” refers to the light circle on the front of your Xbox 360. Generally, these light up when the console is loading and when other controllers are connected (each quadrant of the light circle corresponding with each player connected to the console), but most cases, the color is green.
