What is the recovery time from Botox treatment?
Botox Cosmetic requires little recovery time. We use a very tiny needle and there is little, if any, resulting redness or swelling at the injection site. Most people who receive Botox Cosmetic return to work or attend social engagements immediately following their treatment. Some patients find it convenient to schedule their wrinkle therapy during their lunch hour. The full effect of Botox Cosmetic is often not apparent for ten to fourteen days. Therefore, we advise patients who want to maximize the benefits of Botox wrinkle therapy for a special event (e.g., their child’s wedding) to schedule their treatment far enough in advance to fully enjoy this delayed effect.
