First, AIG pays them up to $25,000 for any out-of-pocket expenses associated with pursuing identity recovery, including legal costs, lost wages, travel expenses, credit report purchases and more. Second, we perform the necessary research to equip the customer with documents, letters, addresses, and phone numbers for the resolution process. We also provide phone support and documentation logs for each victim.
