What is the record for the largest number of Pontoon boats congregating in one place?
Kodiak Island is big; at well over 3000 square miles it is the second biggest island in the United States. Most of it is very remote with only one highway that only stretches about 60 miles boats and float planes are a well established means of transportation to fishing grounds. Kodiak’s fly-fishing is spectacular whether you are fishing the road system or remote streams from the floats on a floatplane. There are many species of game fish that are available for fly fisherman and I will list most all of them, including how and when to catch them.
