What is the recommended way to lookup a contact?
You can lookup records based on the First Name, Last Name, or Company Name, without needing to re-sort the Contacts list. You can also lookup a record using a combination of First Name and Last Name. When you start to enter a name in the Smart field, the first matching record will be selected, and the matching characters will be highlighted. As you enter more text, the number of matching records will be reduced. If you see the Contact you want, just tap it, or as soon as you enter enough letters to uniquely identify a name, the record will automatically be opened.
