What is the recommended way to demonstrate streaming media: sharing Web content, sharing a Web browser, or using UCF? What are the advantages and disadvantages for each method?
The recommended way to demonstrate streaming media is using UCF. You can either share the media file directly in the content viewer, or share the media file in a PowerPoint presentation with UCF objects. If the streaming media is available only on a Web page, then you can use UCF Web pages to demonstrate the streaming media. You can also use Web content sharing, but sharing UCF Web pages offers better control over the user experience and the ability to insert a Web page in a presentation. The advantages of sharing Web content over UCF Web pages are that participants can use the browser’s toolbar for example, the Forward and Back buttons and sharing Web content works on non-Windows platforms. Do not use Web browser sharing to demonstrate streaming media. This method is recommended only when attendees must follow along with the presenter.
