What is the recommended thaw time for Ablestik products?
The time required to bring a syringe of adhesive from freezer temperatures to ambient is dependent upon material type, syringe size, and storage temperature. Typically, a 10 cc syringe of silver-filled adhesive at -40°C will take approximately 30 minutes to reach ambient temperature, a 3 cc syringe will take 20 minutes, and a 1 cc syringe will take 15 minutes. For film products, thaw times will vary with film package types. Thicker packages will take a longer time to thaw while thinner packages will take less time to thaw. Each film package should remain sealed until the package feels warm to the touch.
