Krytox® greases and oils can be used from temperatures of -95° C (-139°F) up to 343°C (650°F) or higher with relubrication, depending on the grade. Some of the material will evaporate as the temperature rises but Krytox® will not burn or carbonize to form gummy deposits, thus avoiding the condition that typically causes equipment failures.
