For those students with no background in technical communication we recommend the following four courses: Technical Writing, Technical Editing, Information Design, and Strategic Communication Planning for the concentration. For students with prior knowledge and/or experience you may choose any of the Technical Communication courses offered to satisfy your requirement for the concentration. • May I skip a quarter? Yes. You have up to 5 years to complete a Business and Management certificate program. • May I take courses online if I do not plan on pursuing a certificate? Yes. Our courses are open to all those interested in exploring a new field or seeking personal and or professional development. You do not have to enroll in a certificate program to take individual courses. • How well recognized are the online courses?
