Students enrolled in the Master of Science in Communication Management will also take their first five courses in the core (listed below) within a cohort– a group of students who will take these five courses together. Registering within a cohort requires a student to make a commitment to complete the first five courses within one year. The advantage of joining a cohort is that students may build stronger relationships among their fellow students and be better able to work on a variety of team projects, both in the classroom and online. At the end of the students first year, eligible students (those who have earned no more than one C for any of the first five courses) will receive a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Public Relations and Integrated Communications.
