A. As a general recommendation, we recommend a minimum height of 1/2 to 3/4 inch (12.7 – 19.1 mm). Princess-77 one of the newer varieties with increased turf density may be mowed just a bit shorter at 3/16 inch (5 mm). This is a minimum. You may prefer to let it grow to a bit longer and keep it at 3/4 to 1 1/2 inches (12.7 – 38.1 mm). It is a matter of personal preference.
