What is the recommended method to quitting smoking?

Quitting smoking generally consists of trying to quit, starting to smoke again, learning what does or doesn’t work, trying to quit again, re-evaluating the strategy and eventually being able to quit altogether. Some people may be able to quit cold turkey, but other people may need therapy, drugs or other methods to successfully quit.
