Under normal circumstances OceanLED would recommend the following installation depths to achieve the best lighting effect: 1010 Series – 150-200mm (6-8″) below the waterline 1520 Series – 150-200mm (6-8″) below the waterline 2010 Series – 200-250mm (8-10″) below the waterline 3010 Series – 250-300mm (10-12″) below the waterline 4010 Series – 300-500mm (12-20″) below the waterline Our lights can operate out of the water for brief periods, but the lights are designed to be underwater.
