Adults and children over 12 years of age: approximately 1 x 30 g. Children 5 to 12 years of age: approximately 1 x15 g. Children 2-5 years of age: less than 1 x 15 g tube. For adults and children over 2 years of age: If the head, neck, scalp and outer ears require treatment dosage may need to be increased to ensure total body coverage. When using Nix® Dermal Cream you need to thoroughly massage a sufficient quantity of the cream into the skin to cover the entire area from the head to the soles of the feet, paying particular attention to the areas between the fingers and toes, under the fingernails and toenails, wrists, armpits, genital area and buttocks. You must leave Nix® Dermal Cream on for 12-14 hours. For child age 2 and above a single treatment will kill scabies mites and eggs in most cases. A second application may be given 7 – 10 days after the first treatment if live scabies mites are present or new skin lesions appear. In most cases only a single application will be necessary
